[2259] Playing House

'Bash':

I frown wondering if I can mentally put out an order like this.

I look back through the portal finely understanding this wasn't enough.

"Go..help..Beo..?"

I try before Beo just smashes out sending her name in rock all over

He flies into the portal to join us.

"That'll work too.."

I sigh... then zone out at the..drawings.. flying about..

Meredith:

I blink at Bash's order.

It was weak but at least I knew who I was speaking to now.

Beolan comes through the portal to join us.

"Beolan I am so sorry. I order you to stop eating now. Only eat when you are hungry."

I instruct hoping my directions were clear enough.

Zorra:


(Zeek): "Dad's back!"

I look over and see Carry with someone under his jacket.

I stare, feeling a concern stirring in my chest.

"Carry... Who is that?"

And why is he carrying the person like that?

It is Ettie, I can't help but wonder worried.

I warily glance at the children and back to him wondering if I should ask the children to leave the room.

Beolan:

*I snatch up a fuzzy golf cover in the shape of an owl and shake it in my mouth*

I am about to maul Boren turning my rage onto him.

*Meridith tells me to stop eating and adds another order I wish she didn't, they always seem to go the wrong way*

"Th...anks.."

I say and try to attack Boren anyway 

This is the BLUE ROOM so its pretty meaningless attack when he cant be touched.

But it made me feel better.

Carry:


"Hey." I nod in greeting at Zeek, Ezra stares and..Ettie is missing again..

I look at them worried and set down the body covered on a gurrny.

((Its Des... maybe they should leave..)) I agree and look down at the..undead creature.

This was so.. complicated.. 

((He's undead but it seems more then vampirism, it happened when he touched the 'eye...it almost looks like Beolan's traits copied.. but.. in a different way.. opposite?))I reply since he was alive and Desmond dead..they both had wings though but even the colors seemed polar.

Meredith:

"Beolan that's not-!"

Beolan attacks Bash.

I rush over trying to pull him away, concerned it might trigger Boron back somehow.

"Beo! STOP!"

I snap at him and he does so.

*Snatches owl golf club away.*

Zorra:

Hmm.

I try to focus through the unease churning in my gut.

I look at the children.

"How would you two like to go on a mission?"

Ezeekiel looks up at me curious.

(Zeek): "A mission? Like what?"

"See what else is going on in this castle? But try not to draw to much attention to yourselves..."

And find your sister... I think to myself.

Zeek looks worried.

(Zeek): "You mean like, whose a robot or not?" He gazes over at his brother warily.

"Um..."

(Zeek): "And the energy walls?"

"... Sure."

Zeek shifts his attention and stares to the covered body.

(Zeek): "Is that a robot?"

".... No."

But it is something unsavory...

Zeek swallows warily.

(Zeek): "Is it Ettie?"

I make a shooing motion.

"No now go on. Have fun. Go.. do something..."

Zeek frowns at me suspiciously. As if I'm the one who brought the body in here.

He reluctantly looks to his brother and heads for the door.

Beolan:

"Stop ordering meh 'round!" I yelp back at her once I come out of the trance after she said 'STOP'.  

I hiss angrily feeling way to full and sick, but I hold back vomiting because I was too upset to even do that. I didn't want anymore humiliation, which has been my whole existence since waking UP.

I shake traumatized from the last hours of mindlessly eating and seeing the 'blue Boren 'loveshack' did not help my mental state.

 I didn't like the tingling sensation it made me feel I didn't like ANY OF THIS AT ALL.

Boren just stares, I couldn't even hurt him. It just made me feel more powerless. 

I struggle with going from being the strongest to being the lowest of the low now, it wasn't worth being ALIVE if this was all there was now. Nor was it even being alive it its all Boren's blue damabable acursed gases. 

"You enjoy it don't you!? Finely able to boss me around like you never could!"

Meredith:

Beolan gets mad at me for ordering him around.

I drop the club frustrated.

"Fine, FINE! I won't.."

I turn around not knowing what to do anymore.

This is all so fucked up..

Beolan comes at me again and I stiffen.

"W-wha? What are you talking about?!"

I snap back at him confused.

"You are not thinking clearly. I take no joy in any of this!"

Beolan:

I try to calm down and remember its not Merideth's fault... its HIS.

I can't look at him, the golf club brought up..things..

Thats explains why he starved me too.. so I couldn't heal..

I hold back trying to hurt him again because.. logically I know I cant. Its just a impulse.

I hiss to myself frustrated. 

((Hes Boren?))) I ask her forcing myself to look back down and not at him.

Meredith:

((Sometimes.. other times he's himself.))

I pause for a moment realizing what I just said.

I can.. speak plainly to Beolan?

((Due to our connection, I am finding it hard to speak to others about this.))

I let out a sigh of relief, knowing Beolan would understand, as he was apart of this as well.

Ezra:

We get sent on a mission, Mom was super cryptic about it. I look at Zeek and wonder if she was giving more details to him because I fully didn't get it  myself.

Hmm..

I pull out a loose med kit laying around from one of the troop and get up.

I dont look at what Dad brought back. I dont want to know.

He was looking at Mom saying something private. 

I finely look at the covered figure when Zeek asks if its Ettie.

Could it be?!

I look at her surprised when she says go have fun.

 I thought it was a secret mission?   

((What do you think,  suspicious..?))

I look around glancing at the walls. How they casted a glow... I wonder if we leave the Guild HQ zone will the light get brighter.

What was making the light? Not the sun. It was ..blue.

I touch the metal walls of the compound as we leave it.

Carry:

I uncover Desmond once the boys are gone.

"What do you think? Have you ever seen a monster like this?" I ask her since the Xern's experiments were many, terrible terrible things.

It certainly was not in my records.

((He said he had wings but they arent out..the Myra eye did it to him..so I thought it could be ... related?))

I eye the staff not sure where to start. 

How to split someone we have no grasp what they are even.

I pace around and take a stringe trying to get a sample while he is sleeping..

Beolan:

I frown at what Meridith says, it was a bit different then Klaus's view..

I cant help but wonder if she ..just thought it was Bash. He seemed pretty creepy staring at us.

..hmm?

Then he transported away!

What is he up too!?

((We should find a way to...))

I hesitate. I was going to say destroy all of us, we all have Boren's energy then he'll never die..

We fought the Overlord to long to be the only forces keeping him alive.. but... she was pregnant.. 
That didnt seem fair, but even the child will.. just be another source of energy. 

((We need to get rid of the energy in all of us.. then he'll have nothing! ..there hassa' be a way to get rid of it, without us dying..do..you think we can exist now without it??)) I ask incase the Overlord told her something, some clue he certainly didnt tell me. 

And Bash.. did he know anything or was just.. as clueless as ever.
Its practical but I cant bare to face him. I was too angry.

Zeek:

Ezra is smart and prepares for our excursion.

(("Hmm.."))

I ponder them and look around wanting something to poke one with but then maybe if it does shock I'd get shocked regardless by holding the thing.

I see Ezra touching metal walls... Okay, maybe they're safe.

I wander down the halls with him.

(("Maybe the kingdom recovered alien shield generators and we just never knew about them cause we haven't needed them till now?"))

I think that over though.

Wouldn't Boren's ship's tech be rainbow-like the glass? Or would rainbow energy walls be too hard to do...?

I observe how the castle just seems to have that... Matching aesthetic though on the inside...

(("Or maybe the Lyratisan's built it?... Maybe it runs on energy with the whole um.. Current uh.. Canal thing."))

Meredith:

((I don't think so.))

I respond to him softly.

The only reason we were both here right now and not rotting away in the ground was because of that energy.

We lost, Boron has won and it was all over now.

I don't even know what we were fighting for anymore..

*Takes note of Sebastian's disappearance but says nothing.*

((If there is a way we can keep Bash cold that should at least buy us some time to come up with a more permanent solution. I don't think Boron can handle the cold at least from what I have seen.))

I speculate out loud.

Zorra:

As much as undead things have ruined my life, I give it ago for Carry's sake.

Plus... I always did like biology, I tell myself unenhusiastically.

I peer over the pale body and pale hair. He also had other characteristics though. Feline ears were amongst the hair and there was a tail.

I sniff and wrinkle my nose at the smell.

(("Well he certainly looks and smells dead..."))

I tilt my head.

Shame his wings aren't out to observe anything other than pale, dead, and feline.

(("Not 'exactly no.")) I finish my reply to his question on if I've seen anything like it. My mind goes to Beolan as well as the Kitsune. Animal ears and tails of their humanoid forms...

(("But I do agree with your statement about Beo. It does look like his... general external features just... a feline dead variant instead of dog... Which would make the Myra connection seems possible given its... Split same people thing it's done in the past..."))

As if we of all people need to be reminded of that...

(("The fact it can do that already... Maybe it did that just... Without another duplicate and used it on an existing body from being used improperly?"))


I see Carry pacing. It must be hard on him. We've both lost so many to undead already.

I see him grab a syringe and wonder if we should try to find something to secure him first. Though doing so would probably disturb him into consciousness more than a little poke. Besides he might wake up by then.

I move over to some nearby supplies and get and put on some gloves, and grab a flashlight and also grab a syringe curious to give a more in-depth check. I consider trying to check on his mouth. Particularly if he has fangs and what that might mean.

I try to prod his mouth open carefully and am surprized when there's heat felt through the gloves.

(("He's warm??"))

I didn't expect that given how pale and dead he already looked. Is the 'un' part of undead really fighting back there?

I ponder that as I look back to what I was doing with the mouth and connect two and two together.

(("If he's been copied or reverse copied with Beolan's biology what would that mean for Sirinial venom?"))

I wave my hands in thought conversation.

(("Maybe it's killing and or healing him at the same type and that's why he's undead? Maybe we can take out the venom sacs and see if his... condition stabilizes over time once its all burned out of his system?"))

I suggest. Since well... We might just end up with two undead feline Sirinals if we use the eye on him ad we were already worried enough when it was just Beolan.

Carry:

I listen to Zorra's thoughts on Desmond's new state of being.

"The paleness almost reminds me of the hybrid. but that was a good sign they were alive again... in his  case... it just makes him look more dead."

I sigh, he didn't deserve this. I thought he understood the danger of the Eye, if only I warned him more of it, so he would not have ever touched it. 

"Hes hot?" I put on a glove to join her in a light touch very confused. 

Something was keeping him alive then, was it like Boren's energy? I've never seen it react to a vampire other then crumbling it to ash. But clearly Desmond was more..complex.

Zorra suggests the venom, it would hurt him before so now was it just burring him up again and again.

"Poor boy.. thats awful, it was already hard to treat him before... imagine the sensitives now..I'm not even sure how to sedate him for a surgery..?"

Is he toxic to himself? 

I take the blood and look under the microscope..

Desmond:

In my dream, I see the King. It's cold. We're in... A freezer I think?... There's something more... Untangible. Mental... Then a syringe...

The already surreal vision seems to distort and become disjointed. I feel sensations of touches that aren't shown and the dream distorts in my mind to try to rationalize and give it meaning.

I open my eyes and see Zorra with a syringe and glove on, trying to get a good look at my mouth and I jerk back startled. Hair and tail floofed in alarm.

Zorra raises her hands up.

(Zorra): "Take it easy. We're just taking samples."

Zorra stares at me. Eyeing me as if waiting for me to make the first move. Expecting something.

I gaze back at her, watching, waiting like a passive passenger to bare witness to what Ettie does in whatever this situation is with her mom.

Until I feel a stir of hunger and realized this wasn't a part of the dream. I wasn't just witnessing a moment in time. This was actively happening. Now. To Me.

I swallow as I gaze at the syringe. Only bad BAD things come from syringes. Shivers.

"You don't need to syringe me like the king! I don't need that! I'm not like that! Haven't I already been messed with enough already!?" I grab my head and rock a bit. "I don't need you to mess with my mind too!"

I feel myself shaking and have a panic attack thinking about the rehab center and all their drug syringes.

Suddenly, I'm there again. Helpless and going to get drugged to hell. My anxiety skyrockets and I freak out. My black fire swallows me up and subconsciously take quick shallow breaths even though I don't need to break.

I need to leave! I need to escape!

But I can't focus to teleport.

I fall and stumble off the table, onto the hard ground, and grimace, but I push myself up and make a break for it. There's a clatter as I knock over things unseeingly, my mind back in the center and not seeing the real lab in front of me. Heating up and setting some things on fire.

Meredith:

I try not to be irritated with Bash for his silence and then disappearance.

He had a much greater kind of struggle than the rest of us in all this.

“Just give him a moment.”

I sigh then wince at my unintentional command.

Beolan then makes an observation about Bash’s influence that I had yet to consider.

”No..”

I shake my head in denial.

“You saw him when he was beaten and taken captive. Why would Boron go to such great lengths to stay in character during all that.”

I reason out loud.

Beolan:

It made sense to me at first, after all even in a new body his minions reaching for power wouldn't necessary believe or accept Boren in that form. Especially Boren's history with Sorin and Bash. It made sense for his people to want to kill him. Ironically hurting their old master unknowingly.

But when Meridith said it  - her words cleared up my uncertainty and I accepted her thoughts on it.

"aye.." I look down trying not to sound bias.

"Then Boren wont stay out if hes..hurting....you need to try to keep him... injured.. its what he would want surely.."

I look back at her with wild eyes.

"Cripple him, if your fast enough and if he lets his guard down around you.."

Enough to always be at it.... 

"The creatures outside hurt him.. it could hurt him again...hurt him badly enough and don't let him heal. Thats what he did to me this whole time on the wall.. I couldn't eat to heal. It was not fun or anythang, but if I can handle it so can he.."

Carry:

Desmond wakes up, I know I shouldn't be surprised we did not restrain him or anything. It was rather a helpless situation when we knew so little about what he was and what he was capable of. Sending him loose among the monsters outside seemed..wrong..

"Desmond we are trying to help you, we need to know how to treat you..reebmer I was just speaking to you.. you explained how you became this... thing.."

I put the needle down and my hands up to show I wouldn't attack him. I inch closer to Zorra nervously for her.

"The Eye may make things worst, before we even tried it I wanted to see if there was another way, to understand.."

I try to make him feel safer by distracting our target of interest.

"Maybe even, check Beolan see what each of you have gotten from one another in the ..switch of sorts.."

Meredith:

I tear up.

I knew Boren was hurting Beo. I could feel it.

But hurting Bash would only send a ripple effect through the connection. 

A necessary consequence we would all have to suffer through if it meant keeping Boron at bay.

I sigh and shakily grasp the club.

“Ok.”

Beolan:

Meridith agrees to keep Bash hurt to ward away Boren. It might be easyer said then done.. 

He wasn't here to try for now, there was hope.

"Once hes put away, we could run away... just me and you.. like it used to me..."

I look at her lovingly  getting caught up in all that fresh hope, stepping closer.

Meredith:

I look back at Beolan heartbroken.

I wish things were that easy but…

I close the gap between us and kiss him.

Maybe just this once we could dream a little before it was all inevitably taken away.

Desmond:

There's talk of needing to help me. How to treat me. My own words and actions with it.

The Eye... Beo...

I cover my ears and close my eyes tightly trying to block out the bad bombarding my mind and shake my head deeply upset.

The old thoughts of rehab and the ache of stabs into my arms and the damn constant sounds.

Carry's words though... Take my mind in a different direction.

I cringe and flinch, with fresh thoughts and feelings of the cutting into me to 'understand' me.

"No! You can't- you can't understand!"

I shake my head and rock back and forth.

"Nothing can be understood! Rehab doesn't help. It's all lies." I grind my teeth.

"Cutting into me does help."

I then add in a panicked plea. "Don't cut into me again! Not again! It doesn't work! The machine readers exploded! It's useless! Nothing is learned! And nothing helps but the darkness!"

I wanna goooo! I don't wanna be here!! I KNOW this is what I want. And I even feel it in a.. calmer form.. Elsewhere... (Beo hoping to leave with Mer.)

I force myself to open my eyes and look around warily, grimacing.

I see...

I see....

Empty hands held up...

My vision swims and feels fuzzy as I see faces...

"M-mentor?"

I look around in the haze of black fire.

This isn't the-

My ears stand alert and I swear I sense someone else here. It makes my skin crawl and my cat tail stand on end.

I hiss. Whoever it is can't be up to anything good! I run at and tackle the figure I'm sensing.

I land on him, still set on hellfire. I jostle at the fall and gaze into the face of... Bash?

Unwanted thoughts tear through me.

"You! No! No! You're not watching again! There's nothing to watch! No more cuts! There will be no more cuts!!"

I rock back and forth on him panic stimming, then feel a rush of heartbreak (from Mer).

Looks at him upset. Taking him as my heartbreak.

"Why did you do it??? Why did you just stand by and watch Mer cut into my chest over and over again when it was obviously hopeless??"

Zeek:

I watch the dragging.

....

(("What was that??"))

I hesitate, wondering if we should get closer or not...

It seemed... Not good...

But... maybe it wont be so bad... (("Surely mom and dad could mentally hear us if we call out to them at this distance if things go south right??"))

They might even get here before you can ask Lassy who fell down the water hole... Okay maybe not that fast.

And we've been through worse things before... As... terrible as it is to have that comparison and to think about... Surely Life would never get worse than that point...

I glance over the secret lab opening and then at the ceiling and walls.

Goes over to a wall and climbs up it and scurries across the ceiling in an attempt to be 'sneaky'. Goes towards the entrance then crawls down and peeks in.

'Bash':

I watch a little overwhelmed with Meridieth and Beolan's minds.. far to guilty and disgusted with myself to go back to their scene as much as I did feel jealousy and anger it wasn't warranted nor should I feel that. 

. Shes always much better off with anyone but me... for good reason. My heart hurt so much.
I just wasn't sure how to get out of this mess, if I'm Boren.. think im Boren.. it all was still me in the end.

Desmond's treatment plan didn't offer much insight into what I need to do. 

There was talk about his condition between Zorra and Carry. I had been hoping to see the eye artifact split someone for real to see if tht would help. 

Or would I just be another horrible person or less myself then ever..?

Desmond awakens and brings more panic and anxiety into my already dangerous thoughts. I didn't even have the strength to show myself to him or the Foxes for help. I felt so bad.. so bad for everything. 

Desmond finds me lurking and was hot with fire. My built up guilt in my gut twists some more as I felt mortified at his acutation and questions.  

I fight the urge to transport away from him but I have no where to run too. I did not want to go back to the blue room, feeling it was bad enough but seeing it, seeing how much of a life me and Meri are would be too much.

"I..ts not ..hopeless.. Des?" I try to back up to his flames.He wants to know why??!

"I'm not well, shes not well.. we didn't want to really hurt you..I'm sorry... sometimes helping hurts... I need help... if you dont want to be worked on, then lets let the Foxes cut me open.." I twitch a little feeling to much heat. I try to blow out the lights in the room so Desmond is the only source of light.

I take his hand and put it to my chest snapping a little.

"You can start my surgery, get me back for it.. go ahead...cut." I growl holding it steady getting mad now by Meri and Beo and the heat.

"Feel better. Des, go ahead..you can hurt me the most after all..."

Blythe (Beast Form):

I drag the little nurse down the hole by my teeth hissing and spitting.

Just because I'm trapped like this they think I can DO ANYTHING!

Klaus's words were the most on my mind and 'Bash' crying for help in my head soon after... 
I couldn't bare to face him knowing I would get sucked in the LIE again.

I had to ignore it and he stopped, I try to tune out where he went or what he was doing because.. because hes...

I cant say Boren. I cant.

Hes dead! Hes DEAD!

I let go of her distracted by my own thoughts and pace around the room making loud vocalizations of DISTRESS calling into the void.

(Lasha): "Princess wha-"
She screams seeing the remains of Tully and tries to run away again.

(Leithe): "We should warn Gale..."

(Fretta): "You really think the princess would demand the arm back??"

They whisper and I hiss up at them in confusion at the sounds they were making.

I go back to Tully trying to see if there was any improvements..

Ezra:

My eyes go big at Ettie's nurse troop in distress. Some monster that looked wounded was going crazy. It was feline-ish a bit too! Always trouble

((I'm glad Ettie isn't with them!))

But where is she!?

I hope she wasn't just dragged down first before we came on the scene..

I was too afraid to ask Zeek if he thought that too.

I follow quietly after Zeek as we peek in and observe not only a dark squid filled lab in distress with flooding water, tools and gurrnies , chemicals all knocked around but one of the young soldiers, the one who came over to our ranch..Tully... in pieces.

I cant take my eyes off his headless form. She paws him with her claw to react and the headles body bolts upright and grabs at the air.

Lethe screams now as Fretta morbidly watches.

(Fretta): "Sick.is...that a vampire..or... no a zombie?"

The wounded beast monster drags Tully's body, that looked rotted leaving a dark stain to a black ink filled tank to throw it in.

((Maybe they tried to 'make stronger' more people like Meridieth. .that big speech of the King's about her getting a power up...and Desmond's power up!..and..but these people..not so good so we didnt get sent their pictures.....lots of failures here.. Mom and Dad got alot of work ahead of them.))

 These 'experiments' are pretty uncool but our parents can fix them!

Zeek:

Wow! Things were crazy in the castle.

(("Ettie having to be sent here though."))

At least she keeps her head down and is quiet maybe that helps her... Is that just helpful reinforcement, or a sad cause of keeping her like that?

Or was it to try to help push her out of her confort zone and failing?

Ezra is able to figure the weird stuff out!

I hadn't been able to make heads or tails of it. It all seemed so weird and random.

(("Oh, yeah. You're probably right! Wow, you're so good at this Ez!"))

So maybe it isn't always like this then since that stuff is recent?

I move away from the hole though. Seemed like tempting fate to get the mad Princess to possibly vent her anger on us for spying.

I try to think of where to next or if we should go back.

Hmm...

I didn't see any tech in the throne room for the generators... The labs seemed to be in a bad way..

...

Wherever it is must be guarded and checked on too right? So important...

...

Maybe it is back in the recraft center with all the lyrat tech... But do we really want to go over there? And it's not like we'll for sure know what it is when we see it...?

(("We were so good and fast. We had info in no time! Think we should head back to mom and dad with this?.."))

There was also another mystery. Though maybe that has already been revealed!

(("And maybe get to see what dad brought over there? Maybe it was one of the failed monsters?"))

Desmond:

Bash says I'll feel better hurting him, cutting him. Doing the same that Mer did to me.

My eye twitches at the thought and feeling anger (Bash's). A frustration grows in me.

My hand on him grabs his shirt and I push against him with my pent-up emotions.

"Stop trying to tell me how to feel!"

My free hand gives him a slice across the chest anyway though in my fury.

I twitch, seeing the claw mark go bloody and my thoughts unabided go to all the bloody claw marks in Mer's room. Doren there... Licking the blood.

My stomach tightens and I extinguish my flames.

I put my hand to my ear and close my eyes.

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." I plead to my intrusive thoughts but it doesn't help making me more upset.

"AGH!"

I open my eyes to see more than my memories and do as Bash had wanted and catch a few more times but in my case I was trying to make the claw marks different then Mer's rooms.

I look at it pained just wanting escape. Escape from all this.

And I do, as I find myself getting caught up in the moment and Mer and Beo's feelings. I grab his collar with my free hand and tug him down (the Des shortness  ) towards me and capture his lips with mine.

Ezra: 

I scan my eyes for Ettie, just in case because...theres pod people in dark water now apparently. 

The beast howlers again in woe and I climb back up the hole feeling overwhelmed.

(Lasha): "We'lll help you Princess! Its ok!"
(Lethe): "Yeah we'll make it up to you!"

Our poor cousins...
I never thought it was this bad.

I listen to Zeek and felt more anxiety building up as I overthought about all these scary things *like Orion but doesn't get a brain bleed yay*\


((Yes I think for the twins sake, we should tell them..um maybe tell them we're going too....)) I reply but was to scared to make contact first.

Who knows whats going on....

Desmond:

My lips tingle, but before I can really focus on that my back slam against the cabinet and my head hit after. The sound of glass shattering and tinkling down the ground.

I grimace, let out a hiss from my throat, then snarl.

Zorra winces at the slam and looks around for stuff in the background.

While my head feels off from the hard slam, but I'm forced to refocus as Bash unleashes some freaky weird thing like some unnatural biopunk horror.

I cringe and twist uselessly in his strong grip. I rear back as far as my spine can, cornered, into the broken cabinet, just further adding to and driving in the shards that are piecing and digging into me.

I bare my teeth in a hiss and swap a claw at it like a cat batting away something and unleash my wings to look bigger as I launch forward and go for the throat. Biting and shaking my head trying to kill the monster.

His blood hits me though. The sudden piercing jolt of it stabs into me.

My eyes dilate.

I claw at his chest needing to feel more. MORE.

I shove away burned bits of cloth and pierce my claws over where a heart should be, feeling it under my palm.

We could die.

Die together like this.

Actual true death.

I feel lightheaded in a daze from so many sensations and feelings.

'Bash':

I finely feel the much talked about god killer bite for myself and felt the coldness appease away the warmth of my rapidly healing. I only wish I could be COLDER, so cold. 

 My mouth piece tries to snap and reach him on a bad angle but he gets a hold of it so it cant shut /extend further it bites at itself bleeding on him making shrieking sounds grinding on its teeth and flesh angrily trying to twist and contort the appendages to reach him.

 It felt so sensitive and raw skinless with veins of pulsating light and exposed nerves I nearly pass out as his bite as it sends shockwaves down my throat/head/stomach where its attached to on the nervous system. I'd scream but cant since its in my throat and just gag convulsive at the agony. 

I hear him in my head.. barely comprehending it. Die. I heard.

Purring a little psychotically into his skin, feeling peace in this, it will ALL be over now.

I almost black out from how pained I was feeling nothing else but theres HEAT so much heat. FIRE.

The mouthpiece makes a horrible wail of fear.

I claw at him swiping whatever I can reach and try to get away falling over myself in a mad panic not be on fire.

(Carry): "DESMOND GET AWAY FROM HIM BEFORE YOU KILL EATCH OTHER!"

*Carry FINELY tries to spider strength throw the herbal raised beds at us with all the DIRT dumped down. I cant see nor can I scream now at the mouthpiece covered just the pain unending pain*

Desmond:

The horrid blood burns my insides and everything feels hazy with all the sensations.

The purr was nice, but then Bash flips out. I just assume he doesn't want to die.

I wince and hiss as the swipes keep coming and heat burns by skin. I choke out a hiss, and feel like I'm drowning in a burning liquid fire.

I may be undead, but I'm not a fast undead, even if I wasn't already off and trying to die.

The only thing I manage to do is let go of my bite, before the herbal bed slams into me hard, dislocating my shoulder and breaking my arm.

I'm ripped from him at the force and everything feels slowed down as I go flying then land hard and tumble to the ground and vomit some blackened blood.

I cough and chokingly gasp. I don't need to breathe but burning blood turning black fills my throat and lights my veins ablaze in agony.

I try to push my face up from the blacked vomit as I tremble from the pain. Finding one arm useless.

Vomits more blackened blood.

Lays back down, finding getting up pointless now. I close my eyes, finding them wet as I begin to tear up from the pain and the rapidly swirling thoughts in the haze of those I would be leaving behind... Or would they even care?... Would it be a relief to them if the monster is gone?... Why should I even care about their feelings on my behalf? They're already turned on my once.

This was... What I wanted,... wasn't it?...

I'm not sure...? I'm not sure about anything.

Beolan:

*DISTRACTS MER THROUGH MOST OF THAT SOMEHOW**

I PUKE on the bed even the 'happy' lights above cant hold it back.

Desmond and Bash must have gotten outside..
I gag a little wiping my mouth on BASH's clothes.

Escape is becoming less and less appealing...
I think feeling sick.

Carry:

I have a face shield and gloves trying to drag Desmond out and not get contaminated by the black blood everywhere. 

I can only hope it was a GOOD thing to purge it..

((Maybe we should...take him somewhere else?))

I tell Zorra afraid to keep him next to Bash THAT was insane. Desmond would never... CLEARLY there was some soulless darkness already seeping into Des.

Was he too far gone?

 I see some appendages snap/guttural gurgle under the dirt and almost forgot Bash.
I have slight guilt for favoritism of my apprentice of course but also it would benefit him and Des BOTH to get them AWAY from one another before they kill one another.

.... if it isn't already to late.
*I stash Des in the Navigation Guild HQ because the master's study is near by and IF its a copy of Sorin's set up there is a lab there.  

 But the navigation room itself doesn't look like a lab he may feel safer waking up there. 

*props him on black leather couch with a blanket*

"I'll get the dirt off, one moment... please stay here.. " I web the door from the outside and around the entrance hoping noone goes in there.

I rush off to get Bash but he's up when I get there and not happy as his mouth was.. not ...looking right.

(The Imposter):  ((WHAT DID YOU DOO!??))) He gaged one part clawing this way the lower part twitching and the others stabbing grinding one another.

Meredith:

I did not know how long we were at it.

I must have blanked out or something because when I came to, all I felt was pain.

My mouth... oh my god?!?

I gasp and bolt up off the bed (barely missing the vomit).

I grasp my neck at the burning sensation. Like acid.

A EXISTENTIAL CRISIS IS FELT THAT IS NOT MY OWN

Maybe we should all just die?

I snap myself out of it.

(To Beolan)((We need to separate those two before they kill each other!))

I create a portal and pull him along with to Cary and Bash's scene a little too late to be of use - as always  

Beolan:

I grip the bed trying to not be taken by her portal but I am. I ddid not have enough clothes on. there was so much blood..black blood everywhere.

I cant see how wrecked Bash is lost in PSTD of the torcure in Klaus's lair.
All newfound TRUST i had in him and his stories washes away as I remebmer the horrible moment he suck his secert wopen on me.

*runs away from BLOOD trying desperately not to touch all the splatters and stains everywhere with my wings or I would BUUUURN AGAIN*

*Thinks I am burning feeling Bash / Feels the hopelessness of the burning with Des*

(Carry): "Bash you need to get out of here too theres to much blood...please." *looks at Mer* "What about his pool? It doesn't connect to the rest of the water systems? Can he get it off there?"

*Bash chokes unable to breath with the swelling neck -  then it explodes all over MER*

*Beo shriek in the distance can be heard falling*

Meredith:

Beolan was panicking worse than the rest of us.

Maybe bringing him along was not such a good idea..

I keep the portal open, hoping he would just jump back through.

"We can try.."

I whimper back to Cary in a considerable amount of pain and unable to fully process Bash's mouth appendage before it explodes on me.

I cry out in response before grabbing Bash and dragging him through the portal and into the pool as instructed.

'The Imposter':

((NONONO DONT TOUCH ME))

I felt my body light up, sparks to all the light trying to heal but something sickening could be felt as I held myself, letting myself fall to the gravel at the bottom of the pool, gills extend out and scales raise up slightly.  My back spikes aching as they retracted out more and alight webbing covered them like a fish's sail.

But I felt so much burning still and no cooling of a healing sort of warmth.
I finely Un squint my eyes to see so many cuts,  they weren't so deep as if the attacker.. Desmond? couldn't have gotten through the scales but the skin he broke was tainted and refused to close.

 I watch blood my own blood from my throat raise up in the water around me and sense I wasn't alone. I thrash my hand now webbed trying to fight an invisible foe and then gag feeling part of my mouth floating hanging by three fleshy tubes down my mouth. 
 I pull it inside then it was all for nothing as I try to vomit black bile out of it gaging as it shoots out again.

too weak too weak cant.. .cant...wa...not alone?

I look up at her form all disturbed on the surface.

Must get away from her... before she sticks more of her PETS on me..

I panic as I see the figure laughing - at the water ripple movement.

*I bubbly gag - shooting water out to distract her and trying to escape. CRAWLING super fast and demonically out the pool onto the walls and trying to portal one platform open to get out and away from her dragging my mouth and tentacles around with all the extra fins and webbings that spouted out. Even that one wing is out to help grip with its claw on the end.

Meredith:

Bash doesn't want me touching him or near him at all really.

I stiffen now wondering if he asked for Desmond to do this to him.

*Gets splashed with water.*

Urgh!

I portal jump out of his scene and into Desmond's next to try and help him.

"Desmond! What happened??"

My mouth, neck, shoulder, arm and overall body still ached and burned but at least Bash and Desmond were no longer at each other anymore.

No idea where Beolan went now though..?

*Sighs feeling depressed.*

"I don't know how to heal you without being intimate."

Why couldn't Boron have just shown me!!!

I hover my hand over his chest trying to concentrate.

Desmond:

I black out from the pain for a moment there. As I do so, I'm vaguely aware of movement.

Consciousness starts to come back, in the form of sensations. The internal sores, which cause me to grimace. My throat aches something awful and mouth feels swollen, and sensitive. I also come to the realization that I no longer feel the hard floor beneath me. Something else more compliant, as well as feel something get draped over me. Then I hear mentor's voice in the haze of misery.

He's still trying to take care of me despite witnessing that. That's comforting to know. Regardless of what had been the intent with Bash back there.

I feel my eyes hurt with more tears at the gesture.

Carry doesn't have to worry. I have had no intention of moving.. Well, beyond the shaking and the potential of leaning over the side of the couch just in case I had anything else to vomit.

But I know I'm not really giving him any clues here. There's just so much going on, I can't find it in me to rally any strength to do anything about it. Let alone any willpower before he leaves.

I keep my eyes closed and run my tongue over my bottom lip, trying to distract myself from the pain.

Mer comes and my first thought to her question is, 'I kissed Bash.'

I grimace again under the blanket and flush at the awkwardness if I had to tell HER that. Doesn't realize she could probably mind read that now.

Instead, I say nothing, nor make any movement to properly address her.

I feel the pain uncomfortably through my system. It's hard to focus on everything tho. I can only focus on so many sensations at once. But now I notice a sharp coldness piecing into my chest initially, then the sense of it expanding and crawling within my insides starting from my chest. 

Apparently, she can only help with... intimacy...

...

I open my eyes and pause just focusing on the other terrible sensations all over, besides n my head and body. The grime of dirt was everywhere, even annoyingly underneath my shirt. The prickly burning, the stickiness of blood splattered against my exposed skin. The coldness of tentacles start to sprawl out over my burns.

Then will myself to finally say something...

(("...Today... has been a long day..."))

I turn my head to the side.

(("You don't need to... Do anything."))

I respond not really in a condition to care or even really think about them feeling it.

Tries to rest.

Meredith:

I had so many questions but Desmond was so weak, he could hardly say a thing.

I put my hands down feeling stupid.

So much of this power was energy based and I had thought with the enhanced mental capabilities, the two could somehow work together.

I remember Bash not wanting me to touch him.

Maybe it was as simple as that? Touch.

I cringe.

Of course it would be that simple.

I press my hand on Desmond's chest and try focussing again.

There is a possability that this will only work on creatures like ourselves.

I think of Beolan.

But I was able to heal him?

All this felt very familiar.

I think back to when I first woke up this way. Desmond and Boren were fighting then too. Desmond somehow managed to hurt Boren. Bad.

Bash was in so much pain..

There was blood.. a different kind. Desmond's blood.

I carefully make sure I myself wasn't touching any.

A possible weakness. A way to keep Bash out and Boren in.

I think back to Beolan and our discussion. It was impossible for me at the time to think of a way to injure Boren. Even if he did let his guard down.

Maybe this.. this was the way?

With Desmond's help, we could find a way to fix this.

I tune back into our scene.

((Desmond, how do you feel?))

I know he was trying to rest but.. I couldn't just allow him to suffer like this.

Desmond:

I feel her hand press on my chest from the other side of the blanket. It stings and aches and I grimace, teeth clamped and panic building in my chest at her touching that place specifically.

The cold tendrils receded at the experience and after a moment the residual chill subsided to the unbearable heat building under the blanket and clothes.

I feel the biological desire to stretch my legs out a bit, ankles against the cushions, writhing at the light trying to shine through the blanket and the warm heat of her palm but I don't. I'm too frozen on the spot. Fight and flight be damned. Like a child hiding from the monster on the other side of the blanket that will surely carve my chest open if any skin is exposed.

She keeps at it though... She wants to know 'how I feel'.

My eye twitches and I grind my teeth. Thinking of those damn Lyratisan reeducation center doctors.

At least my anger for them got me out of my freeze mode. Though if that was a good thing I wasn't in the right mind to say.

(("Like I'm so done with therapists."))

I force myself to sit up despite her hand's presence on me going up even closer into it briefly. I wince at the pain jostling my dislocated arm. I let out a hiss, then cough because of the hissing irritated my throat.

The blanket comes away from my head.

I reach over, wincing at my one arm and having to use the other to and grab her wrist, my skin sizzling at the contact.

I swallow back the urge to cough more and bring her hand towards my face as I stare at her hard, expecting to feel the prickle of heat there but she had stopped channeling.

(("You are heat and you are light, Mer. The only way you can really 'help' me-"))

I feel panic rise in my chest again at the thought of her hand on my chest again. I breathe in and out at the emotions flooding my system regardless of the actual need of oxygen.

(("Is if you end me and my suffering quick."))

I start to move her hand hovering towards my chest, wincing and my torso cunvulses when I do so and it feels like the oxygen is being sucked away from me.

Shakes and zones out traumatized.

Zeek:

Apparently, the creature form was the princess?.. Or is just named Princess? I dunno for sure. Could be her natural beast form or the whole upgrade angle maybe?...

(("Ah, good thinking."))

Might upset the princess more and cause more yelling unannounced.

I take a few steps forward into the room and look to my cousins and the 

"I can ask my parents. See if they can help...?"

Glances around the dark lab.
