[2296] Father knows best

Mooni:

I listen tentatively to Tully's response.

His history seemed, complicated, but I choose not to pry any further.

Suddenly, out of nowhere Tully is attacked.

I stop in place and try to refocus my attention through my own eyes.

Unforutnately, it did no use as I could not see a damn thing out here.

But that voice.. the  eerie one right above us that knew my name caused a great unease from within which I had no other choice but to respond to.

"Who are you?!"

I choose to engage as more noise from the creature would assist us with pin pointing its location and striking it down.

Nero:

I make a visible GASP sound at the news of Constantine/Petrus AND Francine/Rowan.

"Not Rowan too! You guys were SO in love!" I gawk about it - they held hands once.

"I AM SO SORRY."  I hug Francine overwrought with EMOTION having envisioned them all living their BEST LIVES THIS WHOLE TIME.

*Eiden is brooding watching from behind insecure*

Francine:

I startle at Nero's reaction.

.............


"....yeah, it really sucks."

Like I needed the reminder..

Nero hugs me and I flush from embarrassment.

*Awkwardly pats his back trying not to notice Eiden's look in the background *

Eiden:

wow...

That was more then sundae sharing AND handholding...

I have to look away embrassed for poor Francine.

"Eh ahmm.." I fake a cough.

"Are we going to find Constantine, I'm sure he'd like a hug too.."

I say with in annoyance.

(Nero): "Ok... as long as his parents arent with him.." He lets go and motions for us to go first so he can be a sneaky Moore.

Tully:

"Mooni it will grow back.." I reply holding it for the blood scent was strong now. I try to keep my good eye open for her.

The little creatures all grotesque looking. Some sort of snow lice lap at what falls in the snow under the thick bowed leafless and lifeless trees, hollows for all sorts of disgusting warped and cursed creatures.

Mooni talks to it and her voice is mimicked word for word many - echoing through the tree hollows by creatures. 

"We should ignore them?" I say in a question not sure what she is up too.

Would they..give her directions?

Mooni:

Tully confirms his eye will grow back.

Then we are lucky, for if it was me leading in front and not him, I most definitely would have lost my eye.

"Let's keep going."

I whisper back to him as the creature seemed to lack the intelligence for independent thought and was simply mimicking us.

I cast an invisible shield around us to keep us from further injury before proceeding.

"That is some power you have there."

I observe with respect to his fast healing.

Francine:

I lead the way out of the apartment and down the hall.

Things seemed quiet?

When I get to the door, I knock not sure what to expect.
