New London: The New Hope
Written by Ethan Goth
Humanity survived Boren's genocide and the Curse by countries fleeing into the stars by use of city ships. One of its crowning jewels is New London, the cradle of humanity, as its biological breakthroughs brought about a new golden age through cloning.
Floating Districts?
Broken up into a variety of flying district clusters and specialty buildings, New London's floating landmass buildings, while they're in space, are powered by extreme locomotion. Given space is frictionless, turbines can be set to spin in gravity-free zones and will essentially continue on forever if the equipment itself is properly maintained. If, theoretically, New London landed on a planet with natural gravity, they would act as normal energy-collecting wind turbines. The initial launch, and any potential future launch, of New London from a planetary surface utilize additional backup energy sources.

Class Crash!
The lifestyles and living conditions of New London vary wildly. The royal family and the elites have better-maintained building ships and technologies due to their fleet and general patriotic support for their hierarchical positions. It can be a struggle for other district ships to maintain their maintenance when there is only so much they can strip and repurpose on their little space islands. This isn't their only source of materials, however. Technically, people can sent off in shuttles or move their building ships to collect and ferry supplies from anywhere in the galaxy. The problem is raw materials have to be processed into useful resources and the like and factory buildings tend to cater to the elite as first priority.
Locations:
New London Mothership:
New London's Mothership appears like a tall wall castle with two conjoined towers and a shooting-off point in the center of a bridge. This mothership's design is as obvious by its title, designed as a hodge podge homage to the architecture of old London but condensed.

Fun Fact: Earth's London's famous Tower Bridge was engineered by John Wolfe Barry between 1886 and 1894.
[1] Could this design be a tribute to a Wolfe ancestor?
This forward bridge actually serves a twofold function. Both as a multi-directional landing pad, as in space, there is no up and down to have to cater to, and it also serves as additional layers of protection to the throne room, the royal family's abodes, and the control center, which are located within the center-conjoined building. Unfortunately, the landing pad has fallen into disrepair as time goes on. This has created a bit of a potential safety hazard when and if the Mothership lands. Will it buckle under the pull of gravity? Or will it stand firm?
The Left tower contains laboratories, cloning pod storage, hydroponics, and other gardens, while the right tower contains more personable things like a kitchen, guest rooms, personnel quarters, entertainment home areas, and storage.

Specialty Ships
Specialty ships can be solitary buildings with specialty trades and homes for the more affluent and eccentric. They can also be factories so they're less of a potential hazard to districts. This specialty ship pictured in the image for example is one with a captured space mollusc-whale-like creature that is farmed for its shell material for aristocratic uses such as jewelry and My'ra idols.
