[2292] Uncle Knows Best

Edward:

What a distressing trip outside. If they didn't tell me the Purple Flower would burn down along with the city I would not have 'helped' at all.

I hate hags...

I brush myself off remembering simpler times such creatures were imaginary.

"Thank you for the assist Miss. Sharpton."
I tell Lourdes once we get inside the tower's massive lobby.

I finish texting the chairman of the dome's food production about the order they will receive, those beautiful pale winter elves who died outside will be sent to the factories. I offered to do a study on the danger of our human population eating such meat but was rejected.

I for one will not be ordering a burger for a few years...

While here I become privy to the fact the Sharptons are...Xerns?

"....really..all this time?" *twitch*

(Lourdes): "Its alot less pressure to be a townie.."

(Paris): "Everyone is out of the closetttt."
He comes out in humor but did not look happy.

"You too Mr. Crowley?"

I nearly choke at the news, screwed...him. at a party once... yuck...

(Paris): "Im afraid so..."
I turn away, cant look at him. I need a drink

the glorious golden bar was open and FREE as the little pretty boy who pour the drinks aren't here now. Its very expensive normally.
i drink deep finding the whole day disturbing.

I hear them whispering. 'get rid of him?' ' he knows too much'?

*tense up thinking they are going to kill me*
*about to transport out*

(Lourdes): "Just jesting..."

(Paris): "This is why we use tons of different names and don't tell anyone anything...anything"
I let my tense arm droop back down on the table.

"I..dont have a problem with it."
*sips my drink with a shaking hand*

Rukbat:

I raise my eyebrows surprised at how many there were.

Interesting..

The prisoner admits her distaste for her abilities and asks for a hint regarding her situation.

"Not sure?"

This really wasn't my department.

I wander over to the pool half tempted to dive inside to see what will happen

Petrus:

He doesn't do anything to them. Maybe it was a intimadation act. I do not try to understand such logic.
The older man begins to walk closer to the pool away.

"N..ow wait. What can I do for you to release me? What do you want?"

*girls giggle under the water at how desperate I sounded*

Rukbat:

I glance back at the prisoner when she distracts me from my mischievous thoughts.

She was so persistent. 

Usually I would not get in the middle of situations like these but I was bored and figured at the very least I could make a game out of it.

"How good are you at fishing?"

I detach her chains from the wall and pull her over to the pond.

"Tell you what, if you can fish out one of the gigglers than I will give you a head start at an escape."

I smirk.

"I will have to chase you of course."

Hopefully she can run fast.

"If you fail at fishing a priestess out than you will have to go back on the wall and I will get to go fishing instead."

Petrus:

I stare hard at the man believing this to be some sort of demented game.

"That's easy, I'm sure you could command them if you tried.."

Hellspawn...
I don't call him that outload and kneel over the golden water. I half wonder if I should just jump in and swim away in the tubes.

NO the priestess would get me being so close in the tube.

"Come here lovelies.." I whisper senssuliey to the water and let my slitted eyes reflect on the golden pool and try hard with my captivating souless aura. So empty like an abyss sucking in the captive audience. It should not be hard. These girls were meant to serve.... HIM the judge... so in retrospect me.

About 17 of them all flip out at once towards me before my breath touched the water and I duck down so they hit the man. I then run heaving and thrashing at everything and everyone around me to get out into the night.

Rukbat:

I pout.

Wishing she jumped in and wrestled one of the fish ladies to the surface but a guy can only dream.

All the fish come at me which was equally as exciting.

"Hellooo oh there are so many of you!"

I laugh getting fish slapped a bit as Petrus runs away.

I wondered how much of a head start I should give her. 

I should probably keep my game within the temple as outside is a bit of an apocalypses zone.

Which would also amuse me but unfortunately I don't know how father would take it if I actually lost her.

I swoop after her after a moment or two and start playing my little game.

(Thinking to Petrus) ((I smell a virginnnnnn))

I taunt whilst gliding down the halls, my wings fully out.

(Thinking to Petrus) ((Your chains are so loud.))

I laugh.

I wish she let me take them off, this was too easy.

Paracelsus:

((Your new pet is going to wake up Mum..)) I warn Echo as she gets up here and I see her try to bash his face in with the weight on the end of the chain.

Priestesses were running around squealing , giggling and watching the show.

I cant wait to the adults get back....

I tire of these youths *squints daring a priestess to get any closer. She runs around me trying to keep up down the hall*

Rukbat:

(To Paracelsus)((Oh come on now, mother can hardly hear as it is.))

I exclaim

(To Paracelsus)((Come join us brother this is fun!))

I encourage before my face is bashed in YET AGAIN and my nose starts to bleed.

Why do they always aim for the face!

The priestesses were following after us which I admit was a bit distracting as they were all very cute.

"Come back!"

I call out dramatically to my escaped prisoner.

"We can work this out I promise!"

I rip a piece of my shirt off and tie it around my nose and head to manage the bleeding.

I looked goofy but it strangely added to the roleplay.

"Ladies be careful of this one. You are all too pretty to get it in the face like me."

A few of the priestesses giggled, a few looked annoyed wanting the game to be over with so they didn't get into trouble.

I swoop after the prisoner again as her weighted chains did unfortunately slow her down.

"Listen, you are doing very well."

I respond a bit nasally with the cloth tied over my nose.

"But, I should probably catch you now, unless you have a different move you would like to show me?"

Petrus:

I scream frustrated trying to make the best out of the chains but it was fruitless.
A part of me knew it was when I started running...

(Edward):" Why is Governor Podwick's insanely attractive stepson chained in drag?" He winces still sitting at the golden shrine bar watching us pass by. It was a loud scene hard to go unnoticed.

(Paracelsus): "Hes..a lady..."

(Edward): "I ..really thought I knew this town ya know?" He said cradling his head.

I press myself against a large metal gate as the man gives me a final warning.

"Ok..." I heavy breath and try to compel the priestesses again with my influence, it was a little easier this time as tears fell to look 'cute' and vulnerable.

Only 2 of them try to fight the man and one of them fights by kissing him.
... probably not helpful..

Edward (easily influenced by the soulless tearful stare) raises up and punches him from behind.

(Paracelsus): "Didn't see that one coming..."

(Lourdes): "Eddy I did not think you had it in you!!"

Rukbat:

I try not to laugh at the background comments from the peanut gallery.

This was wild..

The prisoner starts to cry.

Ok this was less fun.

Then a couple of the priestesses start to attack and our game picks up again.

I even get a kiss out of it  

Unfortunately, the young woman's influence impacted Edward and I got slugged in the back of the head.

Owww..

Paracelsus enjoys the scene in the background and I can't help but feel a little foolish in the moment.


I suppose I came into this game a bit cocky yes?


I spun around quickly knocking out a few of the women and of course dear Edward.


Poor things, I will need to make it up to them later..


I slide  over to the gate with my grip less shoes  and pull my jacket over her head.


"Stop seducing everyone! That's cheating!"


I laugh/scold while trying to grab her chains.

Joseph:

I transport back the special chair next to the bed so I can sit.
I hear Rukbat's clamoring with one of the priestesses prisoners.
After some bit of comedy he gets her chains to drag her back.

(Petrus): "Ughh I'll ... remember this.. when Im the Judge. I will!" She threatens him without merit really but it was all she could do.

*is a tad disappointed he didn't slip up and get seduced*

I didnt want to make things tense with Neressia right now but if my son made a mistake Im sure she'd understand.

I guess we're going to get Judge Mann..

*rolls eyes and leans on chair waiting for the morning*

Rukbat:


"I will be sure to stay as far away from you as possible when that day comes."


I humour her final threat before attaching her chains back to the wall.


"You know, I heard that virgins are alot easier to possess."


I take off my head covering now that the bleeding had stopped.


"I am always here to help, if you are looking for another way out."


I tease only to get another rise out of her.

Petrus:

I scream and kick out frustrated at him all the way till I am back on the wall.
He then further mocks this whole ordeal.

"I think with my abilities I can seduce someone much better looking then YOU."

I sneer at him dangerously

Rukbat:

"I would hope so."

I flutter my eyelashes playfully at her before leaving to assist the priestesses with bringing their unconscious companions back to the pool.

Edward was unfortunately, left propped against the wall

"Well, it has been a pleasure to meet you ladies, we should really do this again sometime."

I address the room of concious/unconcious priestesses and of course, our fiesty prisoner in the corner.

I wave at the lot of them and screw off for now

Constantine:

I wake up very confused and disoriented. My head felt like a bruise.


Whoa what happened..
I try to think back as much as I can remember. I think Petrus and I were.. on the old pirate ship..

wait..PETRUS!

I try to get up but Mum stops me pressing on the blanket I was under.

(Ettie): "Cause wait...its probably too late anyway."

"Wh..at you mea-n?!" I ask reaching for her arm forgetting about the new power.
I see what she was thinking about, rituals at the tower..
Not with her, how.. the egg hatched... all the blood..how I was born.

I amplify it so it mindshock her out cold while I was lost in the visual screaming about blood making the place loose power AGAIN XD

***NOT saving Petrus*

Petrus:

I look over at Edward confused why he left him there.

...was that old creep helping me? Do I really owe him one??

I wait a little bit for more of his games but not to long incase more of the priestess wake up.

((Edwardddd...)) I sing in his head trying to wake him up and not the others.
(Edward): "Ughh what...?" He looked irritated but then got lost in my eyes.

"Get me out of here now...please?"

Instead of unlocking me he transports me (bluefire style) away then snaps out of it looking around.

(Edward): "Ah fff... sleep transporting.. I have no idea..hope she wasnt inporenent.." *tries to sneak out but falls into the pool*

Klaus:

I run back to the tunnels and into a spare room to wash myself of blood.

What I did was moronic and could possibly destroy our arrangement we made with Orion on the surface.

I try to rethink the incident the best I could but all I remember was blacking out at Constantine's condition and flashing off to the last place I remember Orion residing. 

I ended up attacking one of his son's instead, but I don't think he saw me before I left.

I hear my son's screaming in the background and try to tune him out as to not black out again.

Whatever PTSD carried over from the Tower still left its mark it seems.

I wander over to to the infirmary to see Ettimay out cold and Adamaous trying to calm Constantine down.

He was far too young to be going through this right now. 

(Admaous) **Casts spell to try and force Constantine to pass out agian.**

Constantine:

I see Dad and look very disturbed at him from everything I know/felt/relived before finely succumbing to Adamaous's influence and falling back on the bed.

*lights flicker back on and random medical tools floating around drop*

Klaus:

My eyes start to glaze over for a moment at Constantine's final look.

I am soon distracted however when Adamaous picks up Ettimay and puts her on a nearby cot.

"What something one of your levitating spells couldn't handle?"

I hiss possessively.

Adamaous gives me a dark look before leaving to tidy up the infirmary.

Ettie:

**leans into the dark presence that picked me up drawn to it still lost in the abyss of the past and my mind from the mental burst**

**once that presence leaves I start to wake up from the reliving nightmare**

"Kl..aus?" I sense him for real not in the past...
I was shaken, that was really powerful.
yes this power means he can protect himself now I know.. but.. if he cant turn it off.....thats... really bad..

I cant believe I cant touch Constantine.

I couldn't bring myself to even tell Klaus about this.

"Wh..ere did you go? Did you really kill..Rag..inbar jr?" I whisper. Unsure what that means now with the deal we made... were repercussions coming?

Klaus:

I stroke Ettimay's hair affectionately as she wakes up.

She starts asking questions, ones of which I was not completely ready to answer.

"I intended on killing him."

I pause for a moment.

"I did not."

I look her over.

"Did Constantine do this?"

I cringe.

Ettimay:

I sigh settling back down once Klaus said he did not.

"Oh... how I wish you did..." I mean it. It might just be worth whats to come, after all Raginbar broke his word when he bit our son if you ask me. Whats stopping them from finishing us all off now?

I close my eyes wishing I could go back to sleep at his question.

"Yes.. its like he has a shield up.. an offensive one that reflects back at you. If it was a shock or a jolt of pain ... it would be manageable but its a ..deep personal .. mental attack. Its as if he pulled something out of my head, made me relive it..and I think he saw it too.."

Klaus:

I smile sadly at Ettimay’s response.

I wish I did too. Orion was no longer the man I once knew. He had turned twisted and evil and his downward spiral I could not stop no matter how hard I tried.

Having him around would only mean further torment for us both.

Ettimay explains what Constantine did to her. How his new ability effected physical touch like a shield and which was also painful and intrusive to the mind.

It was a formidable defence but the cost of such could push him away from us.

“What do you think he saw?”

Ettie:

"I was thinking about his birth...well the 2nd one...so I think he went back to the..sacrifices."

since I had an egg and it would not hatch no matter what for a whole year. Distressingly I did give it to Raluca to hatch since at that point I just thought it was another sick mindgame.
So it is completely my fault she scarified all those street urchins in a bloodbath to hatch him.

One more moral failure I seem to have let slide for Constantine..

Twistedly I was so happy to see him at last in all that gore. There was no justification or reasoning really to excuse it, I should have been better, the whole experience in the tower and surprise pregency after truly brought me to the lowest of the low.

"I think he saw ..other disturbing situations from Raginbar as well..it must be alot to process.. maybe once he can ... the shield will lower?"

Klaus:

I tense up now understanding the gravity of the situation.

Ettimay passed on some pretty heavy memories and Orion, who knows what all he passed on.

“We will speak to him when he wakes up.”

To at least try to better explain what he saw.

“Are you ok?”

I ask.

Ettie:

Klaus tries to be positive, I should be too for him with my answer but I could not.

"No..." I turn away from him starting to cry.

Klaus:

My heart breaks at her response.

I hold her while she cries and don't stop until she does.

Constantine:

I groggily wake up, I felt a little drained of energy now having used up quite a bit of power in all my.. outbursts.

Mum...
I felt so bad hearing her cry.. like all those tower moments in the vapor.
I feel bad for both of them. Dad was so larger then life too me before, It was hard to reconcile all this. It made me really want to do better to make them happy, since I was the cause of so much sorrow..

But what I learned about my self was far more disturbing. It felt like no number of good deeds could wipe that away.

"I'm sorry Mum, I didnt mean..to hurt you...I forgot.."
I squeeze the sheet around my hand to remind myself not to touch anyone.

"I..Im sorry I didnt realize how much ..trouble I was to both of you all this time.."

Klaus:

I look up at Constantine when he awakens.

"Please.. don't blame yourself. What you saw.. had nothing to do with you."

I squeeze Ettimay's arm gently to alert her to Constantine now that he was awake.

Ettie:

Klaus squeezes my arm but I know, I heard him. I reluctantly pull out of his embrace to sit back up.

"I'm fine Constantine, I hope you'll be too.."
I look over seeing what he was doing to the sheet and know I still cant hug him.

What an awful punishment for doing what Raginbar Jr said..

Klaus:

“Can we still touch him through fabric?”

I ask Ettimay not certain of the boundaries of this new shield of his is.

Ettimay:

"Yes."

I nod a little at Klaus, it wasnt the same though.

(Constantine): "Its a little better now.. when I first woke up... it was like I heard everyone under the dome at once.. "

"And the power is on. Your doing better."

I try to encourage and come out of my broken shell for his sake.

Klaus:

I pat Constantine's hand over the bed sheet.

"Do you recall, when all this started happening?"

I ask

Constantine:

I look down at the sheet awkwardly.

"Uh when Joseph bit me...I was alseep.. so I dont remember why he did it.. he was carrying me outside.. I think.."

It was hard to remember because then I got hit with everything all at once so ..but I wasnt in that room anymore. I got to the sewers...

Klaus:

I tense up.

As if Orion could not wound me any further.

I get up and pace around the infirmary, regretting the day I showed pity on that monster and gave him a second life.

I am his sire, one would think the last being on this miserable rock he would want to piss off yet here we are! 

Perhaps I should end it all. Kill us both in a fit of rage with a carefully crafted stake.

"So Joseph bit you and this happened."

I repeat again in a trance.

Ettimay:

Constantine tries to recall what happened, it sounded more disturbing then I thought. So they did not fight, he just bit him?

Klaus tenses up and I get worried by that distance look in his eye. He had a PSTD moment leaving earlier I feared if it happened again he would not come back. I cling to him worried.

"Klaus please..don't do anything please."

It still disturbed me how close he was to Raginbar, before he even met me...
Even now learning about this new betrayal brought him so low.

(Constantine): "It hurt him, when it happened everything I was hearing and feeling it reflected back at him..he fell down.."

"Do you think it killed him?"

(Constantine): "I dont know.."

I wonder if his blood is like mine....

Klaus:

Ettimay breaks me from my trance.

"I won't."

I reassure her.

I already did and where did it get me? Attacking one of his kin and solidifying my place in refuge for the remainder of my days.

Now that I know he drank from Constantine, there were also additional risks to consider should he take after his mother in that way.

"The main thing is you are here with us now and you are safe. We will work to see if there is a way around this but in the meantime, just try to be patient."

I know I won't be.

Ettimay:

I keep an arm around Klaus anyway, as if his word wasnt enough because it still felt he could be taken away at any time.

(Constantine): "I'll try dad...I'll be..better."

He replies to Klaus's words, patience was not one of Cause's strong suits.

I try to wrap my mind around why a bite would trigger this, Constantine fell off a tunnel wall we told him NOT to climb and hurt himself bleeding when he was 8. He broke his arm doing something stupid on the surface as well only a year ago. No shield.

The only time he really seemed to have magic was when he was 'born' all that blood ritual charged him up. It was a nightmare having a baby randomly transport into town...

I have seen him use a shield during that time but never when I touched him. He was very hard to manage till he was 3, then it all went away and he was normal...
His 4th birthday was so relaxing, he could not transport a damn giraffe in the great hall like last time...

"Did anything else happen before the bite. You said you were sleeping..and you came in looking drugged.. what did he give you?"

(Constantine): "It...was a incense burner..a timewielder he called it, it was an out of body experience..I saw you in..the tower.." He looked away awkwardly as if he pitied us now.

I let go of Klaus, with my full permission to kill Raginbar now. He just better not kill himself!!

(Constantine): "The man was a real..creep he had the chair still.. obsessive even. But Im not sure which one of you he was so.. weird over since he..knew you both?"

Klaus:

The conversation takes an even darker turn when it is revealed how Orion ensured Constantine saw everything.

"It does not matter, he is creating a sick narrative to disturb you and get under our skin."

And it was working..

I look over at Ettimay feeling a lot of things right now.

Mostly sick to be honest..

"Can I speak with you alone for a moment?"

I ask, not wanting Constantine to hear this.

Francine:

I discover a partially wrapped book on the edge of a hallways table.

Someone must have forgot it there.

I pick it up wondering if it was for Eiden.

Based on the wrapping paper, I would say so.

I bring it with me to see Eiden in isolation.

"Hey Eiden, I brought you something."

I try to remain possitive despite the situation.

Katrin and Noomi were already there checking up on him.

Poor guy..

Ettie:

Klaus tries to sooth Constantine over his worries of why his kidnapper was so obsessive with the both of us. It just made me feel oh so disturbed, I did not want to remember my time with Raginbar in the tower. He tried to sully up things between me and Klaus of course.

(Constantine): "Alright dad." He dropped the subject rather too obedient for him.

"Please rest. Maybe if you feel safe enough the force will leave you.."

I pat his hand under the sheet before I nod and leave with Klaus who wanted to talk privately.
I wanted very much to RUN the other way then hear what he had to say about it.

.....

*cant look him in the eye*

"Y...yyes?"

Klaus:

"I can go out there right now and end this."

I state.

"I am still stronger than him on your blood. The longer we wait the more liberties he will take now that he thinks he has us under control."

Ettimay was the only one that could talk me out of this after hearing what he did to our son.

Ettimay:

Klaus wants my blood to go out and end Raginbar. As much as that sounded like a good plan, it involved him going to the..Tower and possibly restarting our personnel hell again.

"If its.the only way...."I go to give him my neck but back out from the TRAMAUA, even with him being fed on was horrible now.

I burst into hysterical sobs instead not wanting him to go, just wanting everything to go back to the way it was...before I felt like this.

Klaus:

Ettimay bursts into histerical sobs which brings about my own PTSD.

I pale..

"Please Ettie no, don't cry."

I pull her into a firm embrace trying to calm her down.

In the moment I hear a loud crash in the infirmary and a yell.

Was that Adam?

Ettie:

I go still at Klaus's firm embrace, really not getting comfort from it but more anxiety from the similarity of being held down. I choke back anymore sobs feeling silly, I was too old for this. We've been through to much for this.. together.

It just hurt so much Constantine knew now all these deep wounds.

Was playing 'happy family' over for good?

That yell snaps me out of the moment of weakness instantly.

((Adamaous?))

I hiss, regretting those words to him from earlier.

Klaus:

Ettimay regects my embrace.

It was so hard to know what to do with each other now. If only we could wipe ourselves of the past and start all over.

I lead the way back to the infirmary to see the whole placed trashed.

This was not good...

Adamaous teleports to the corner of the room in front of us. He leaned against the wall corner playing with a surgical tool,  looking pissed.

I glance around nervously unable to see Constantine.

(Adamaous) "I take it you have put two and two together now and recognize your current situation."

He quickly flings the surgical tool across the room and it gets stuck in the wall nearly missing me.

"Where is Constantine?"

I demand.

"What a wholesome little world you have created."

Adamaous ignores my question and teleports to my other side.

(Adamaous) "Was it fun seeing me play the village idiot?"

He hisses.

I could barely concentrate as my head starts to pound.

(Adamaous) "I know your wife sure enjoyed it."

He circles around her annoyed.

(Adamaous) "I think you even convinced yourself it was real."

He hisses in her ear before teleporting across the room and setting a nearby cot on fire.

Ettimay:

I look at the mess and surgical tools quite disturbed.

Ugh did Constantine touch him???

However it came about, Adamaous was upset clearly and tries to bait at Klaus for a fight like the good old times.

Seeing HIM like this, with that look just further brought back past trauma.

I get in front of Klaus nervously trying to remain calm. Adam kept moving around though. He gets very close to me for a moment.

I ignore the comments trying to make things personal. As if I took advantage of him. Maybe he knows what it feels like now to since he did it so many times.

"No one thought you were a fool.... Where is my son Adamaous?"

*puts the temper tantrum fire out with a wing air slap*

Klaus:

Ettimay moves in front me and I close my eyes trying very hard not to lose it on him.

(Adamaous) "Right where you left him I imagine!"

He snaps and teleports away elsewhere.

I turn to look at Constantine's cot and see him reappear as if he were cloaked for a moment. Though I don' t think it was intentional.

Adam was angry and not in his usual calm collected state.

I wondered if this chaos was the type of thing that happened when he lost it?

I try to think.

"We should get Noomi.."

I muttered walking down the hallway to clean up the next mess on our plate.

*Random objects appeared to float here and there as the energy in the tunnels was charged.*

Ettimay:

Adam returning to his cowardly state once more leavening us to further antagonize elsewhere.

((Rethink your options, the world outside is not how you left it they see you as a traitor and your mistress is dead.))

I stop myself from telling him he should just serve me instead of Raluca. Whats the difference. That was too far.

how much more can the tunnels really handle tonight?

How could we even think of destroying Raginbar when we have never been so divided?
Our alliance with Vero is no more, hundreds of albinos dropped dead and Leon was possibly outside as well now that I consider he did not return with Klaus before the seal was set. Adam was just the final nail in the coffin if he goes.

"Constantine!" I swoop to his cot and don't let go. Klaus wants to get Noomi.

"I'm staying." I tell him refusing to leave my son. This could just further set him off and I wasnt going to let that happen.

(Constantine): "Mum ..what?" He sees the objects entranced and I try to block it with my wings.

"Dont look at it, its not your concern..shh.." *covers head with sheet and stays on guard nervously sensing all that power in the air very very afraid*

Klaus:

I nod at Ettimay when she chooses to stay before flashing over to Noomi.

(Noomi) "I already saw him and he is pissed at me too."

She shakes her head.

(Noomi) "I can't believe I let you talk me into this Klaus!"

I hiss

"It was your idea too remember? Or are you telling me you enjoyed your time in the Gold Tower!"

(Noomi) "Of course not, but we went too far with keeping him, we should have let him go."

"He was a security risk, he knew where we were we could not risk it! The only other option would have been to kill him."

We both walk into a wall which appeared to be transparent but in fact it was an illusion.
