[2273] Tower Tail

A week after the Halloween Ettie finely got captured and joined the FUN, Joseph is in RARE high spirits from soley drinking off her special blood and has something nice planned for Bellatrix's birthday 








 

Bellatrix:

I arrive home with all that was required.

The list was quite interesting but I left the ambiguity of it to my own imagination.

Once inside, I am met with a stunning display of blues and golds. There were so many stars and the fireplace looked absolutely lovely. 

I clasp my hands together daring to take it all in.

"Oh Joseph you shouldn't have!"

I exclaim completely forgetting it was my birthday

 

Bellatrix:

Joseph's power and charisma intrigued me.

I am distracted though at his romanticism with the Constellations.

Before I can thank him for this Joseph surprises me with a box.

I kneel down next to him and take it from him.

I could already smell it's lovely scent as I take off the lid.

"Oh, Joseph, it is so beautiful!"

I pick up the fur and wrap it around myself.

Joseph:

The smell was very tranquillizing like Ettie's feathers.

 I admire it around Bellatrix with a glazed over expression. 

My mouth finds itself to her neck but I don't break the skin just graze my teeth over her playfully. 

((Yes you are..))

Bellatrix:

I smile at Joseph's flirtatious tease.

"Oh Joseph.."

I sigh.

"You are such a tease."

*pouts*

Joseph:

She calls me a tease and I take it she wants a real bite. 

Since we're on our knees I try to topple her over with myself to make it deeper. 

I have to over compensate after all.. she was a much stronger sort of vampire then what I am ... because I couldn't wait  for the 'gift' 

Bellatrix:

I allow Joseph to topple me.

"Be careful of my new gift."

I lightly tease but still very much didn't want blood to get on it.

Joseph:

"hmm-mmm.."

I reply keeping my mouth over the bite till it healed quite quickly to make sure no blood spilt. 

After a kiss to her skin, I pull away brushing agonist the fur slowly taking in that calming effect and lean on my elbows thoughtfully watching her.

Xenon:

I blink a bit in a daze at the bite or was it the fur?

Perhaps both.

Joseph takes a moment to look at me.

I tilt my head curious as to what he was thinking about.

I pet his hair back, admiring his features.

"Are you happy Joseph?"

I assess as his behavior of late was strange to me.

He sometimes reminded me of his father which I admit was a bit confusing at times.

Joseph:

It seemed like a cruel question. Weren't we all under stress with what was asked of us.

 Wasn't this whole scheme a little hard to bare. It wasnt just me.  It wasnt just personal....

"I am right now..." I say in a pout looking back at her.

Bellatrix:

I smile sadly when my question seemed to hit a nerve.

I follow Joseph's lead however and do not press any further.

"Alright."

I tease before kissing him.

"Then let's stay in the "now" for as long as we can."

Joseph:

I kiss her back and look into her eyes thoughtfully when she breaks away to tell me we should stay in the now as long as we can.

"Its your party.. what do you want?" I ask with a head tilt.

Bellatrix:

"Fly with me?"

I ask and flutter my eyelashes at him.

Joseph: 

"Ladies first."

Bella wants to fly. I smirk stroking her neck and the scarf thoughtfully.

I was pretty sure I could do a leviation spell to keep up with the charge up and all.

But of course it would never be near enough to real wings....

Bellatrix:

"I'll catch you if you fall."

I tease before taking the lead and swooping up off the ground and into the air.

Joseph:

I don't say anything I am NOT going to fall this time. I had the BLOOD.

She did look rather lovely with the constellation lights up on the ceiling and now her. 

I lift off effortlessly this time but it did feel awkward to just float mid air. That's what always got me, when it didn't feel genuine to me I usually fall. 
This time I had clarity and full open potional to not break the concentration. 

"We should dance.."

I say craving some sort of movement being in the air the just dangling.

Bellatrix:

I do a mock curtsy in response to his proposal before offering him my hand.

"A waltz?"

I suggest admiring his silhouette  under the night sky.

I do favour his shoulders.

I think to myself before placing an arm over one and taking his hand with the other.

Joseph:

Bellatrix wants a waltz and I oblige .

 I wish I got a record player to complete the scene. But it was my first 'party' planning event so I was bound not get get it all right

I hum some old latin song the only music we had outside classical.

Xenon:

I rest my head on his shoulder listening to him hum.

It was quite nice.

I relax and close my eyes enjoying our moment.

After awhile I finally open them and thank him for thinking about me on this day... or any day at.all.

I perform a playful twirl and sigh a little bit sad he no longer had his wings.

Joseph:

I was sure her sigh was one of those moments things were just not quite the same between us. The clarity of us not being the same anymore..of me being different. 

"Does it bother you...me being inferior now? It's been bothering me , with everything going on..." 

Even a freak like Ettie is more what I should be....

Bellatrix:

"I miss certain things.."

I pause.

"Your vampirism took part of you away."

Joseph mentions being bothered by it.

"But without it you would be dead? Is not this better?"

I question remembering how sick he was.

Joseph:

Bellatrix reminds me about my sickness. I used to tell myself it was the only way but maybe I would have been kept alive longer at home then out running around with Klaus. Ragweed did not die in the end after all. They held it back as long as they could till a cure could be found.

Ettie's brother.. saved his life.
I think looking at the tail at her neck lost deep in thought.

"Yes..I suppose this is better then being dead. I just.. regret I suppose.. we will never have the coven connection with the 'gift' I could have..you, Auntie and our children will always be entangled together for eternity in an old ancient way ..a sacred bond..and I'm just.. there.."

Pretending to be something I'm not... 

*Psyched self out to loose levitation*

Bellatrix:

My dear Joseph gets lost in thought of what could have been.

He loses control of his levitation spell and falls down.

In a graceful motion I swoop after him and catch him before he hits the ground.

Just as I said I would..

"We will find a way to bring you back to us."

I kiss him gently.

Joseph:

I try to believe her words that it was possible, feeling quite numb to the kiss and her embrace holding me up.

"Thank you." I reply trying to gain composure again from the crippling failure.

"The Starker blood is helping, perhaps you will be rewarded with some for the errands and then your worms could finely infect me..?"

Xenon:

I set him on the ground.

"Perhaps?"

If that will work?

I had heard much of this Starker female's blood but had yet to experience it myself.

Joseph:

"Anything is worth the try..." I say softly as I return to the ground thanks to Bellatrix.

We tried so many times...

To be free of Klaus as my sire at last was all I wanted now, I could just tell myself that's all I need to be free of him utterly.

I needed to break the connection so very much. I could so easily fall under his control again. I could loose myself in his influence again. All of it brought me so much embarrassment.

"It makes you feel so strong..." I try to distract myself with Ettie's blood. "but if I still can not be infected . we'll just have a good time."

I chuckle lightly even though it was intimating to think of her much stronger then she already was.

Bellatrix:

"I'm sure we will.."

I smile coyly though needed no convincing.

"How about we return back to that lovely setup you made for me Joseph?"

I suggest while looping my arm through his.

Joseph:

I truly FEAR seeing Xenon even more powerful then she already is.

Hopefully I wont get eaten

"Let us." I link arms with her trying to get out of my selfish thoughts of being free of Klaus and make the night about her again.

I return to the table and transport in dinner a pair of very bloody rare steaks on a plater that is circler so the blood fills like a pool with rose petals floating in it. Roses around the plate on display.

Bellatrix:

I follow Joseph's lead inside and am taken once again by surprise at the decorative steaks.

He made everything so perfect, right down to the very last detail.

I smile shyly in appreciation.

He was too kind..

"This is..very beautiful."

I pick up a rose and smell it.

Joseph:

"Only a mere reflection of your beauty Bellatrix.." I say with a smile quite enjoying no interruptions.

The city could be burning for the dozenth time this week and I would not care.

I did not want to think of any of them if I did not have too.

Bellatrix:

I raise my eyebrow at his flattery while cutting into my meat.

"Do you know how old I am turning this year Joseph?"

I ask as I had truly forgot.

Joseph:

"Your 69.."

I was very aware of our age difference

"Quite young for a vampire.."

*sips blood mixed with wine thoughtfully*

Bellatrix:

I giggle.

"Such a number."

Has so much time really gone by?

"Well, you have definitely set the standard for birthday celebrations. I clearly have my work cut out for yours."

I jest and finish my steak.

Orion:

I try to keep a neutral gesture at the number as I eat.

It was funny how it worked out.....

I take a sip listening to her future plans. My day was next up... in the winter, for the solstice .....so was Ragweed's for the very same reason....

...since we are on a frozen asteroid without natural planetary orbit I really did ponder if those oh so special days even mattered anymore.

"You don't have too, I have alot more to make up for then you... but I'm sure it would be quite interesting.."
I muse to her thoughtfully.

Xenon:

I smile at his modest response.

"I aim to please."

I lean back on my chair tiredly.

"This night was perfect my love."

I squeeze his hand from across the table.

"But I believe it time, I must retire."

I respond in a well mannered effort to be excused.

Joseph:

Xenon requests to retire, there was one thing about her kind of vampire I did not envy, the sleep

"Of course. I do hope you enjoyed the evening.." I smile at her taking the que to snap out the candles.

It was a true surprise our evening wasnt interrupted. Everyone was TOO quiet.

....

(Raluca): ((Your son tis being an disturbance..))

I already know WHO that is.

And I was perfectly willing to handle it myself to give her a break on her special day indeed.

"Goodnight." I say all smiles.

Xenon:

"Goodnight."

I kiss him before heading off to bed.

Joseph:

Auntie was very peeved with my eldest son and heir for giving into his old ways again and trying to help the rebels. But at least she warned me to get him before those vile snakes did. Apparently Xenon angered one at some point in our separation?

It was like before, when the town was in a frenzy for rebel blood, after the Starkers, he had to be retrained from them or I would have lost him. Truth of the matter I already lost him to them long ago. They were there for him when I was not.

I can only hope Ettie gets a grip soon so we can all... play nice I suppose together. It was ugly business but to end the rebellion so simply was the most practical reasonable answer.

Klaus and his little friends have just done so much terrible damage to the asteroid complex with their martyr complexes and if it continues there will be nowhere else to go.

Auntie was to busy apparently to meet me at the lobby…one of those band members the town was mesmerized by was here.

*Raluca sent Havenland’s beloved celebrity sensation, TETO LA’BEU the Souless black eyes beauty luring the populace with little taste of the occult (he was of the island shelled folk) just for Joseph's discomfort, since he got a little too enthusiastic with Ettie’s tail yesterday.****

I try to look down not meeting the gaze of the soulless one but unfortunately end up just staring at a turtle tattoo under his belly button. He had a crop top and tight leather pants that left nothing to the imagination

(Teto): “I NEED that birdcage, completely spotless for our shoot. Get your son OUT. “

He shows me him in a birdcage with some young tunnels he must have tried to save.

"Unhand that urchin. Do you really want to send her back down there so they can teach her how to strap on a bomb? Her life will be more meaningful once she is educated and put to proper service."

I explain to him as one girl kept pronounce 'no' as 'doh'

Klaus was really breaking stereotypes eh..

(Ragweed): "You have a point but still..he almost ate them.."

He referred to the new pet Hybrid monster, why it was blue was beyond me but apparently it had some past with Klaus to exploit.

*rolls eyes bitterly * who doesn't...

((Open the door!)) I command it. It does so.

"Ragweed. Did I naught tell you to stay out of the family business your too... confused. " I try to hurry it up so I can leave.

(Ragweed): "I'm not confused how utterly fucked up this is."

I get distracted by Teto again over there, then avert my eyes awkwardly and snap in a fowl mood.

“Your one to talk how utterly fucked up you are…”

I slam him to the bars and the little blondes run away as I try to force Ragweed’s eyes to look at me.

“You ALWAYS were a sick little piece of shit STOP pretending to be what your not!”

I drag him down the hall not caring If it upsets the pretty boy’s latest music video.

(Jupiter): “This is so unprofessional. Why are their urchins on set??” He says with a high pitched whine backing away in his sparkle short shorts like the tunnels were filthy rats

(Little Nelly/Neressia): “Foh da tunnnnellls.” *stabs the prettiest soulless one with a carved fork and runs away shrieking down the halls*

Thank Flynn we are going the other way because I would get rid of them next .

(Ragweed): “Nooo!” He claws the walls trying to get out of my grip.

(Raluca): "Did I naught say remove him..??"

"New idea, he spent more time with her then ME...let him visit her." I share my thoughts with her that my son would drop it in embarrassment.

(Raluca): "Very well...be quick on it... Lucelle meant what she told thee wife..."

I hiss in his ear before finely getting his eyes. Obviously embarrassing him enough was the only way to get him to stay the hells away from the failing fraction.

“You tell your precious Ettie all your sick twisted desires, leave nothing out and see if she WANTS you on her side.”

He spaces out a little under my compel and I toss him in. unfortunately I crippled Ettie a little bit pulling her tail so she wasn’t as scary as she could be.

Im not sure why it didn’t grow back… I’m sure someone will fix it eventually..err

(((.... don’t hurt the baby!!)) I add in cursing under my breath he’d get me in trouble if something went wrong there too. I would not put it past him as he restrained her by the wing to whisper what I told him too. He snaps out of it and I expected him to die of embarrassment but instead he just starts yelling at her. She seemed too tired to fight back till it goes back to....

Beolan again...

Ettimay

I squirm as much as I can. All I had was upper strength of my arms and wings to move right now and he had that pined to droool and laminate over my wings.

"Shut up. Shut up."

I stop myself from reasoning realizing it was to automanic he was compelled why who at this point I don't know since so many were the cause of my suffering of late.

When he finely stops the love declaration I fully aspect him to back down back to himself but he got very angry and started ripping into the wing he had been graveling over moments ago. I am blamed for his desire, like I asked to be the play toy for any of those disgusting old vampires.

It strikes many nerves but I try to ignore it, it was probably a test to kill him and it was very tempting.

"Crow. Stop it." I warn him once before I'm forced to slam him back into my shelf of paint bottles trying to get him to stop pulling out my feathers.

"I'll never forgive you for letting Beolan DIE."

I pick up a bottle of blue and throw it at him shaking, hearing the loud drip drip of my bleeding wings. I don't think I could handle him ripping them off next. My eye.. my tail... nothing seemed to grow back or heal right on its own like usual. I was completely at the mercy of their warped 'medicine'.

(Ragweed): "You think your so fucking high and mighty because you weren't THERE? How does that make it better!!? You didn't even see it. All you have is an EXCUSE!"

NO they are all to blame for doing NOTHING! I didnt make enough of them pay! I was stopped to soon!

"GET OUT OF MY ROOM." I wailed not wanting to think about it. Not again.

He swipes off glass and paint and one of the snakes whispers something in his ear. I didn't notice her during our fight.

I hiss gripping another bottle, supplies scattered all over. But she had her eyes on him not me.

(Ragweed): "Awe looks like your command doesn't work, your never be one of us. ..all you can do is play pretend.."

*****Lucy told him where to cut nerves and tendons through the back and wings to make her wings hypersensitive in his attempts to make them more 'Starker' like with a lovely botched gypsy surgery with a knife****

**passes out and wakes up multiple times through it till I dont feel anymore cutting and see Ragweed now getting torcured by the redhaired snake. I squint out of my one good eye as she moves my bloody hair back.

(Raluca): "Do thee long to save thou friend? Or shall he be punished?" She asks me to stop it and I was too disturbed right not to do the right thing. Thats what she wanted anyway..

"Hes not my friend.."
