Aftermath of Art

Adrian:

Francine  shuffles behind me at the cloaked figure.

I had to admit, he was terrifying.

This moment snaps me out of my own head when I FINALLY REALIZE where I am heading.

This was bad.. I shouldn't be down here.

*Curses Constantine by name*

I shy back at the ferocious looking female wandering alongside me.

"My name is Adrian and I did not do this."

I blurt out and look over at Francine.

(Francine) "He did not. Well, not the stabbing part."

I glare back at her when she overshares.

Francine:

This was so embarrassing.

Eiden came back into consciousness but this time sounded more like himself.

"Hey Eiden, it's ok we are home now."

I try to comfort him.

Ettimay asks what happened.

"Well, it's like we both went for a walk then got bitten by a fish."

Because we are losers..

"Then..."

I skip over the other part.

"Then I was attacked by a sea creature and Eiden was able to kill it but then he started acting funny and started attacking me then eventually hurt himself and then went back to trying to stab me again."

(Klaus) "I came as soon as I heard."

I look over at Klaus and see dad standing there looking alarmed.

(Adamaous) "Francine did you not try calling Noomi for help?"

"I did but she is... I think she might be under attack."

My dad teleports away instantly.

I can't believe I forgot to mention that.

I look down feeling disappointed in myself.

Klaus look weary at Adam's sudden disappearance but directed his attention on Adrian instead.

(Klaus) "And who are you?"

(Adrian) "Just about to leave sir."

He turns away but Klaus forces him to come along for further questioning.

Eiden:

I gag feeling so awful, I tried to kill Francine and I think I DIED. I struggle with the out of body experience and grip at my chest it was still bleeding slightly. It all felt so..

I try to focus on everyone talking. I want to scream at Adam his WOLFSBANE DID NOT WORK. 
But he was gone and I did not have the voice for it anyway.

"It was..more..then that.." I gag spitting up more blood and try to stand up. 

"I was..someone else, I felt like someone else.. it was.. like....I saw... I killed her... I.."

(Ettimay): "If you were posssed you would not have passed the seal.." 

(Kat): "What else could it be?"  

I tear up feeling something so strong, the death of my lo- then I snap out of it and realize no no its not that. 

"The monster was like me, having these thoughts from somewhere else, she was innocent and I killed her....killed somebody..." 

I cringe and dont want any comfort from any of them, I dont deserve it.

Francine:

I watch Eiden sadly when he describes his experience.

He did kill that creature and although she attacked us first, I imagine it would not make her death any easier.

I did not know what to say.

If he wasn't possessed and this had nothing to do with his genetics than what could this be really?

I glance back from where we came really hoping dad and Noomi come back soon.

Francine:

I listen to Ettimay's theory of what was happening.

What happened to those people sounded terrible.

She then mentions I may have contracted the same virus and my heart sinks.

Please no..

I look down just as father comes in with Noomi and sets her down on a cot.

"Is she going to be ok?"

I ask as he adjusts his tye methodically.

(Adamaous) "She will be, she's just tired."

I look back at Ettimay in response.

"I will do as you suggest."

Adrian:

I was exceptionally intimidated by where I was and who I was dealing with.

I had heard stories of these people and their terrorist methods. Their views were extremist and anyone that did not conform were easily destroyed.

They always attracted the darkest of creatures to their cause..

The intimidating reptilian girl tries to intimate me further and I fully believed her.

I am taken to a room with a table and chairs and encouraged to sit down.

(Klaus) "Tell me about yourself."

I heard this one specialized in mind control so I look away.

"My name is Adrian Conrad, I am a barkeep at your son's business. I was asked by him to help Francine bring loverboy back to his residence."

I catch a glimpse at Constantine's father's reaction as though I somehow became interesting to him.

"Sir, with all do respect I would like to go home now."

(Klaus) "Why?"

I look at.him stunned.

"Because I work and live there?"

Is this a trick question?

(Klaus) "Do you like it there?"

He analyzes seeming to scent my alcohol levels.

"It suites me."

He looks at me clearly considering my age.

I was young but not that young. I knew what this place was and could not be so easily manipulated into becoming a part of their cause.

(Klaus) "Well, that's a shame. We could really use more young blood in this place."

That is rich coming from a vampire.

I stand up starting to feel uncomfortable when something falls from my pocket.

What is that?

Klaus picks it up to hand it to me and both our eyes lock on the image at the same time.

I run out of the room and try to escape down the hall.

Tully:

I creep on Klaus and the new guy ... you know in case there is trouble

lurks in the background till the photo is exposed.

....

"Probably photoshop.." 

I tell Klaus awkwardly.  If not I ..felt really bad for Klaus's little boy. Thats a age gap worst then him and Ettie.

Ettimay:

Poor Noomi.. 

I glance at her and her husband a moment, Noomi brought all kinds of scents from the outside world back to my mind.
....

Going back to Francine's arm I try not to get lost in it.  She agrees to stay just to make sure there is no cross contamination.

"Good." I give her antibiotic shot because theres no telling where those TEETH have been.

"Was Constantine involved somehow?" I ask knowing I smelt him in the air around the barkeep. He must have sent him as the man did not seem to want to be here at all.

Emerald:

We have a RUNNER!!

I shove Tesla out of the way to chase him myself. 

I let him get up to a little clifftop rope bridge just to scare him then tackle us both through it falling down to the rocky bottom.

 I transform into a dragon holding him in my tiny reptile arms.

"ROAAARR!"

Klaus:

Tully suggests the photograph was photoshopped.

I truly hope so. I can't imagine Constantine participating in this type of behavior unless it was forced.

Nonetheless, prank or some form of perversion this Adrian was most likely getting what he rightfully deserved with Emerald at his heals.

I will have to contact Constantine as soon as possible to make sure he is alright.

"Trojan."

I address the young Valerian female.

"I want you to accompany the young man back to the bar and check up on Constantine for me".

Trojan was quite skilled at these missions now and I had no doubt she could handle herself out there.

(Trojan) "Yes sir.."

She leaves us and I turn back to Tully.

"I am assuming you two have not kept in touch?"

I ask him regarding his son.

Adrian:

How the hell do I get out of here all these tunnels look the same?!

I make the mistake of looking behind me to see the reptilian woman right on my tale.

Bloody hell!!

I panic at the bridge and the crazy woman spear tackles us both over the ledge.

*Wings pop out out of reflex but they were not needed after the young female's transformation."

SHE'S A DRAGON?!?!

I cling onto her scared stiff at her beastly form.

This can't be real!

Francine:

I glance down at my arm as Ettimay treats it.

She asks about her son being involved.

I blink remembering yet another crucial detail I forgot to report.

"He came after and helped. He looked strange though, firey and full of power. I was a little scared of him so I did not ask why he was the way he was."

Not the best report for a mother to hear.

Tully:

I was surprised Klaus did not make Adrian forget, he was a witness after all. 

Especially if Constantine is compromised now. 

He asks me if I kept in touch with Edward and I give him a look.

"Behind your back, never."

I never went outside after the Tower, I cant. 

"Lets show Ettie."

I smirk evilly, for revenge crashing the other scene.

(Ettimay): "I see..*looks sadly down* 

Get ready to be sadder....

(Ettimay): "I'll let you know if they find anything concerning in the blood results, hopefully not. But please let your father know if you get any strange thoughts out of character .. alright?"  

She gives Adam an apologetic look for overstepping in the infirmity again before going to Klaus and I.

Jupiter: 

I inch closer trying to see the photo.

My brother got a piece of Constantine... 

"Slaaaaay!" *has a gay relapse moment and quietly sinks back in the shadows awkwardly before Klaus gets me*

Trojan:

I watch Emerald bring over the new guy.

She had so much style, it was a shame she was wasting her talents within the tunnels and not out there setting the whole town ablaze.

I think to myself full of admiration for her.

When they come down to my level I can't help but get a strange feeling with respect to the new comer.

He was Valerian based on his wings but there was.. something else.

He staggers towards me never taking his eyes off the dragon.

She was an impressive sight indeed.

"Come along we must hurry."

I urge him onward as dear Constantine could be in trouble.

Klaus:

Tully denies contact.

Hmmm

I think to myself wondering why them. Why these two then?

Before I can question him further he quickly leaves to show Ettimay our findings.

Bloody hell!

I curse really wishing he wouldn't.

(Francine) "Alright, and thank you again."

Francine smiles at Ettimay before wandering over to Adam and Noomi who was asleep on a nearby cot.

Well this is an interesting start.

I haven't even sent them out on their first mission yet.

I think to myself concerned.

Jupiter distracts me from my own thoughts with his obnoxious outburt.

*Glares at him JUDGMENTALLY.*

I turn to Ettie trying to explain the photo.

"This was on the other male that came in. We believe it was photoshopped."

Why must anyone see this?

I sigh.

Klaus:

I look at Ettimay for a moment and try really REALLY hard not to run out there and get our son.

I pace around on the spot trying to think and not react.

It was so bloody hard!

"Jupiter you heard her GO!"

I snap at him.

(Francine) "What's this about Rowan?"

Francine's timing could not be any worse.

Francine:

Personal?

I take a moment to try and understand what that meant.

What Ettimay said next gets me angry.

"I am hardly the whole clan."

I exclaim in offence.

Rowan and I were dating at the time of his disappearance. I was told all would be ok. To wait in the tunnels and so I did ever so compliantly. Now after YEARS of wondering they finally have news and this was how I was treated? Just because I love Eiden now, doesn't mean that I stopped caring about Rowan as a good friend. The whole thing felt very insulting. 

If Eiden was taken next I don't think I would be so eager to appease the elders and wait for them to finally take action only to be left in the dark when news finally reaches us.

I leave the scene in a mood.

Ettimay:

I wonder if this was a sign she was going to get the memories of the gypsy women.
 Maybe it wasnt over.

I zoom after her concerned.

"Francine, you promised to stay in the infirmary. Its for your own good and everyone else's if you are..sick.  Please come back inside, I will leave instead if I upset you."

I try to reason with her to go back.

"Now normally you could handle it, but right now you are in danger of becoming like the creature Eiden killed under stress. The Rowan situation is a little graphic,  we don't know the full story but it looks like he is being used in sex rituals. Jupiter was sent out, he might bring clarity to what is going on. Once your heath is cleared you may be fully disclosed in what he brings back concerning what is going on out there with Rowen and Constantine too.." 

Of course Jupiter did kill Rowan's father... 

I try not to be negative having FAITH in it all working out, as I turn away to go after saying my peace.

Francine:

Ettimay follows and reminds me of my promise to stay inside the infirmary.

I stop and sigh.

Yes,  I did promise that.

Ettimay then opens up a bit more about what was going on with Rowan, despite my current condition.

I try to keep a neutral expression.

It would have been more comforting to know he moved on with someone else and chose not to come back but this was so much worse. While I was going about my life as usual Rowan was going through hell and I could not help but feel guilty for moving on without him.

I nod my head a little when Ettimay discloses that Jupiter was sent out to gather information on both him and Constantine.

I pause for a moment thinking about Constantine, still not understanding how he could blame himself for everything and choose to be out there, especially after what happened to the others. Now look at him, he was already changing.

I think about that hair thing wondering if that was permanent now before following Ettimay back to the infirmay.

Francine:

"Uhm, sure."

I wander over to a little side table and slide it over between our cots.

"So I guess you heard that I might have this infection too?"

I ask while setting up the chess board.

"I mean, we won't know for sure until more time passes but I guess we better watch out if one of us starts acting funny. These chess pieces are pretty dangerous."

I joke awkwardly.

Francine:

Eiden reacts negatively to my bad joke.

He then apologizes and I cringe.

"Please stop blaming yourself, it is not your fault."

I sigh before sitting down on my cot.

Not quite sure what to do now.

Trojan:

Jupiter and I run to get the hell out of there.

I was so offended! Did they seriously send him out after me???

*Pouts the whole damn way to the infirmary for our AFTER MISSION CHECK UP.*

(Noomi) "I can't believe I was out for so long."

Francine rushes over to her as Noomi appeared to just be waking up.

(Klaus) "Jupiter, that was quick?"

I butt my way in front of him to give Klaus my report first.

Francine:

Noomi seemed better now.

I waste no time asking about Eidens ring, the curse and whether I had it as well. Noomi reassures me I don't have it and confirms Ettimay's theory.

Klaus appeared to be on edge listening to both Noomis report and Trojan.

I could not hear what Trojan was saying as she spoke softly to keep things confidential I guess.

(Klaus)"Have anything further you wish to add Jupiter?"

He sighs as I wander over to Eiden and give him the news.

"I think we are safe to play chess again."

I tease KNOWING HE WAS FAKE SLEEPING.

Eiden:


*doesn't know if I should wake up knowing she KNEW or stay sleeping to appear really sleeping*

....


Damnit..

I yawn a little sitting up.

"huh..? Th...ats good..."

For 'good news' everyone over there looked very stressed out. 

(Jupiter): "If I tell you do I not go to the dungeon.."

(Ettimay): "You should go to the dungeon for even suggesting that."

Francine:

I smirk

Eiden was such a faker.

I peck him on the mouth anyways and straighten up again to pay attention to the scene.

(Klaus) "Perhaps lets meet privately, Noomi you too."

He summons the both of them to follow him.

*Pouts wanting to hear the gossip.*

Klaus:

Ettimay was already judging me for things I had yet to do.

*sighs*

Once in the meeting room I take lead of the conversation.

"Jupiter I need you to explain your actions."

No need to humiliate himself further in front of his peers.

Klaus:

I sigh at the news.

Thinking about what Trojan, Jupiter and Noomi reported.

I try to think of a plan.

"Our allies outside may require shelter but what is more it seems we have another issue regarding Paris. Noomi I am not sure if you should be going out there. At least not for now."

If her fight with that Xern wasn't reason enough already from what I heard of her conversation with Adam.

I try very hard to ignore Constantine's involvement in that stunt of his. Whether his intentions were good was besides the point and I was THOROUGHLY disappointed in him.

Noomi reports on the ring curse and its true nature. It was her understanding that it was over now which was good to hear. It was hard to believe Paris was behind the whole thing. The guy truly snapped bad out there.

Which brought me to focus back on Joseph and his new gifts..

I look at Ettimay  concerned.

I had yet to announce sending our people out again and was starting to overthink now if I should.

Klaus:

"Yes."

I take a moment thinking about Emerald.

"Do you think she will be ok alone? Joseph might be helping Paris and he is.. stronger now."

I ask Ettimay trying to think who else we could possibly send.

Ettimay:

Klaus wanted someone else to go with Emmy.

I thought Trojan but the poor girl just came back.

"How about Telsa, I do not think Paris will bother him and Emmy, they have no connections to the Pilgrimage days.."

I pause and privately add.

((Do you think..he isn't a vampire anymore?))

It did not make sense if Klaus could not sire compel Raginbar Jr anymore why was he still hiding and not coming down here to end it.

Klaus:

I relax more at the thought of Emerald taking a partner.

"Yes, that will do."

I proceed to make my way out of the room to provide Tesla and Emerald with instructions when Ettimay brings up Orion.

I glance back at her unsure.

((I don't think that is possible.))

His other characteristics puzzled me. I had no explanation for it.

((Perhaps he has a witch or something to help with these upgrades?))

Ettimay:

Klaus tries to make explanation to why Raginbar looks like a Xern again. There was a big difference between what he was and the type of vampirism the parasites create. 

It was better to be what Klaus was then that...

((Yes I suppose hes been at the tower so long, thats plausible.))

I reply to his magical reasoning. Raginbar Jr wasnt one to waste any time soaking in the knowledge of where he was and he has been there so many years.  I can only be glad he wasnt female. I think in regards to Raluca. 

I turn back to Jupiter and Noomi once Klaus is gone.

"Noomi you are excused, thank you. Jupiter your still going to the dungeon till we find out the consequences of your actions and how you can better it."

(Jupiter): "What! This would never happen to---.."*gets death stare* "I'm fine with that, the lighting in there does wonders for my skin." He adds in chipper.

Klaus:

I find Emerald and Tesla and give them the news.

"We need you to bring back a couple of our allies from the surface. Leafe and Thomas. Though there are rumours of Thomas's capture so you may only be bringing back Leafe. I caution you both as Paris and his family may be trying to track them down."

Things on the surface were getting heated and we were running out of people to send out. 

Our needs were obvious if we were to stand up for ourselves again but I could not help but be reminded of how dangerous it was going to be. I would have thought things would have died down after our long absence but apparently not.
